AUTHOR – EDUCATOR – STORYTELLER
Twenty-five years of community service. A science educator at the New York Hall of Science. A flamenco dancer. Thirteen years as a Girl Scout leader. Every one of those lives shows up in the pages I write.
I — the find

II — Barranquilla, 4ºB
Found in a donated box at a school library. Class 4-B signed the endpaper like a treaty — and added a rule about touching. Beyond it, the chapters begin.
III — el río
“¿Oyes el río? Suena como si llevara mucha agua.” The bamboo forest, the bridge, the deer. Everyone returns it. Nobody lets it go.
IV — the route
